In this group, you will get down and dirty with your writing. Honoring the earth beneath our feet! We will muck around in the mud of metaphor. We will dig deep into your connections with the earth. We will fertilize with our words.
Carol Williams noted that "Most of all one discovers that the soil does not stay the same, but, like anything alive, is always changing and telling its own story. Soil is the substance of transformation." During this writing group, you can write your changing, transformational stories!
May 25th at The Sunrise Project from 6-8pm. Please feel free to share this announcement with your friends. Suggested donation is $0-$20 and/or a roll of toilet paper (there's a story here!). Space is limited to 10 participants.
About Iris Craver, the faciliator: I lead expressive writing groups in a variety of settings ranging from the county jail to the city library. I completed national certification as a journaling and poetry therapist because I am hooked on the idea that the more we engage in the process of creative writing, the more creative we become in all aspects of our lives. I live just off the banks of the Kaw and am grateful for all of the surprises that life has given me!
